Developing and promoting youth activities is an important part of our church. Here we will
discuss what we are doing to assist in the growth of our youth.
MISSION STATEMENT
The purpose of our Youth Department is to bridge the gap between youth and adults, while promoting
spiritual growth, self-esteem, maturity, and holiness. Futhermore, we strive to provide guidance and understanding of
a transformed life in Christ Jesus that we may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Activities and Programs
Our Youth services are held on Monday nights from 7:30p.m. - 9:00p.m. We offer a variety of classes ranging from
"Becoming A Man and Woman of Excellence" to
"How Well Do You Know God". We also have
an Apostolic Bible Class taught by our own Suffragan Bishop Sherman L. Merritt, Sr.
Our youth have the option of participating in the youth classes or participating on our Bible Bowl team, in which they
learn historical and scriptural knowledge about a designated book of the bible and then compete on their obtained knowledge.
Our Inspirational Youth Choir rehearsals are held on Monday nights
from 6 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Our Inspirational Youth Choir sings on every
fourth Sunday, as well as other planned engagements.
The Youth Department also participates in several other activities such as:
* Youth Socials
* Prayer Meetings
* Books of the Bible Pageant
* Fashion Extravaganza
* Carnivals
* Out of town amusement park trips
