In continuing in being a source of spiritual strength to the community, Greater Christ Temple has purchased new property in Nashville to expand our ministry. Our Pastor, Bishop Sherman L. Merritt has been given a vision. That Vision:  To make this ministry available to more of the people we serve. In order to realize this Vision we must make a move to a larger and more accommodating facility and in a community that will be idea to attract more sheep to the fold.

The property we have purchased is located at 802 Youngs Lane in Nashville, Tennessee. It was once owned by Riverside Hospital and occupies over 116,000 square footage of useable space. It includes the main hospital building along with 3 additional buildings on the16 acre site.

Our plans to renovate this property is already in full swing. We have made some major renovations to most of the buildings. Interior of the buildings have been repainted, re-floored and in some areas recarpeted and ceiling tiles replaced.

In addition to our renovations we will be adding a 2000 seat sanctuary building to support our daily teaching, preaching and outreaching efforts. We are in our beginning stages of planning and have already composed a conceptual drawing of our vision.

Part of our goal is also to provide housing for families who are in a transitional stage of their lives and who may need additional assistance. As a result of this, we have committed to restructure one of the buildings on the property to allow this provision. Our church family is very excited about supporting this initiative.

Plans to develop a caring facility for both children and adults are also in the plans. Providing well needed care to those who need it most.

If you would like to be a supportive contributor to our efforts, either in deed or monetarily, please let us know by reaching out to the church at 615-297-7639 or by clicking the PayPal link on this page and making your contribution(s).
